Do I need to know anything about AI models?
No. OC Studio is built for people who have never trained a model. There are no nodes or settings to learn. You add images (or a description), review the captions it writes, and press train.
How many images do I need?
15–40 images works best: art, renders or photos of your character. You can also start from a single picture, or from a written description, and OC Studio will build the training set for you. Building the set adds roughly half an hour before training starts.
Do I own my character?
Yes. Training runs on open-license (Apache-2.0) base models, and you can download your character as a standard .safetensors file as soon as training finishes. Use it in OC Studio, ComfyUI or any compatible tool.
What do credits buy?
Character images start at 7 credits, edits at 2 credits and video clips at 120 credits. A full character training is 1,500 credits, about one month on the Founder or Creator plan. Every button shows its cost before you press it.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Plans are billed monthly through Stripe, and you can manage your subscription from Plans & credits in the app. Founders keep the $8 rate for as long as they stay subscribed.
What is your stance on adult content and safety?
OC Studio is for adults (18+). Some of the open models we support can produce mature themes, so mature content is never shown on our public pages or featured in the Showcase, and what you create stays private to your account unless you choose to share it.
Some things are never allowed, whatever the model: content that sexualizes minors or anyone who looks underage, images of real people without their consent, and anything illegal. Prompts and uploads are subject to automated moderation, and we act on reports. The full rules are in our Terms.
